
With a focus on providing support to start-up and existing small- and medium-sized enterprises, The Business Enterprise Centre (a member of the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs), promotes entrepreneurship at all levels, and delivers programs and training designed to assist entrepreneurs succeed.
Through The Business Enterprise Centre, entrepreneurs are able to easily access business consulting services and information covering many of the different disciplines that might be required in order to operate a small- to medium-sized business. The services provided are designed to foster an entrepreneurial culture while producing new employment in the region.

The Business Enterprise Centre is hosted by the Timmins Economic Development Corporation and funded by the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines and the Ministry of Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure.
The Business Enterprise Centre serves a region which extends along the Highway 11 corridor and includes communities from Hornepayne to Iroquois Falls and Timmins north to the James Bay Coast.
