Welcome To Timmins Night
Established in 1994, Welcome to Timmins Night has grown to become the premier event to find community information ranging from municipal services, social clubs, sports and recreation, culture and volunteer organization.
Welcome to Timmins Night continues to grow and evolve year to year. Originally starting with 30 volunteer organizations and a draw of 60 community residents, the event now sees over 100 community organizations participating and well over 500 residents attending.
All members of the community are welcome. Recognizing that the organizations participating are of interest to the whole community, and that entry fees may deter or inhibit some from attending, the committee requests that those attending the event bring a non perishable item as their entry fee. All food collected is donated to the local food bank.
Welcome to Timmins Night will be held at the McIntyre Curling Club on September 11, 2013. The trade show is open to the public from 6:30 pm to 9pm. Set up for the event takes place the evening prior to the event between 6pm and 7:30pm and the day of the event between 10 am and 5pm. Booths not set up by 5pm on the day of the event will be subject to forfeiture and may be given to another organization on the waiting list. Booths will be assigned in specific themed areas (ex. culture, recreation, health together and education). Booth registrants will be notified of their location in their participation guidelines that they will receive prior to event.
Welcome to Timmins Night is a venue to market your services, or increase registration / participation within your organization / sport / club, etc. Please note that tangible objects may not be sold during this event.
