Export marketing assistance program

As a mining supply and services company in Northern Ontario, we are pleased to announce a new program whereby you can access up to $10,000.00 in export marketing assistance.  With more than half of the approximately 500 mining supply and services firms in Northern Ontario stating access to new markets, both internationally and domestically, as a top priority for growth, this program is specifically designed to increase the global reach of your products and services.

Who is Eligible?

• Mining supply and services companies established and operating in Northern Ontario that are currently exporting or would like to export goods and services are egible for marketing support to a maximum of $10,000.00 peryear or 50% of eligible costs, whichever is less;
• Companies with a minimum annual sales of $500,000.00
• Registered company (either provincially or federally) for a minimum of two years;
• Comapnies not receiving any other contributions from public funds towards specific activities contained in the funding application;
• Sector Associations that have a mandate to provide exporting support to Northern Ontario Minins Supply and Services companies to a maximum of $30,000.00 per year or 50% of eligible project costs, whichever is less.

This funding can be used to attend MINExpo 2012. MINExpo is a once-every-four-years opportunity for companies whose products, services and technologies serve the mining industry. The show attracts more than 38,000 mining industry professionals from more than one hundred countries.  It is the premier mining trade show in the world.

If your company is located in Northern Ontario and your aim is to more effective market and sell to clients outside the region, you are invited to attend an export marketing program information session designed exclusively for you.
